In Multiart, you get the chance to dive into creative crafts, materials, and projects. We make sure there is both time for calm focus and for creating a product you can be proud of. Along the way, you will be introduced to different techniques and materials – such as ceramics, crochet, rya, linocut, drawing, painting, paper, jewelry, and more.
Here, you can create beautiful things to enjoy yourself or to give as a personal gift. Maybe you already use your creativity often, or maybe it has been a long time – either way, everyone is welcome, and we will support you at your level.
CONCENTRATION WITH FUN IN FOCUS
In Multiart, we mainly work in our large ‘creative classroom’, where there is plenty of space for everyone to explore their projects at the same time. A big part of the class is also the social side – we keep the atmosphere cozy with good music on the speaker, while inspiring each other, working together, and giving a helping hand when needed.
Creativity becomes a valuable tool for finding calm and forgetting time and place, whether on your own or together with others. And there is a special joy and pride in holding something you have created yourself. When the weather is good, we also take the class outside.
What can creativity be used for?
We connect what we create to the world and society we live in – looking back, focusing on the present, and with an eye to the future. This might start from working with a specific material, being inspired by an artist, or simply finding your own path. What can creativity and craftsmanship mean for you? Along the way, we touch on art theory and art history in a way that feels relevant to everyone – or perhaps more precisely, to each individual.
