Sand beneath your feet
Beachvolley combines technique, court awareness and quick movements with close teamwork on the court. Here we work on the fundamentals of the game: serving, receiving, setting and attacking. You practise controlling the ball, positioning yourself correctly and finding ways to make it difficult for your opponents to return the ball. The sand challenges your balance and puts your footwork to the test. We combine drills with match play, giving you the chance to apply your technique in real game situations. The focus is on developing your individual skills and working effectively with your partner.
Play beachvolley in Aarhus
We play beachvolley on our own courts at the school and also use the courts at ABC Aarhus Beachvolley Club. On our courts, beachvolley is part of everyday life at the school, while training at ABC introduces you to another beachvolley community in Aarhus. Many students continue playing at the club after their stay with us.
Both venues give you the opportunity to develop your game alongside the other students on the team. Beachvolley requires you to communicate, support each other and find a shared rhythm. Who takes the ball, where should the set go, and how can you best cover the court?
