(summer sport subject)
Triathlon is a summer sport subject that you can choose in the last half of the spring semester and the first half of the fall semester. With Triathlon as one of your two sport subjects you will have triathlon training two times a week. It doesn’t matter whether you are a pro in the swimming pool, you have never tried a racing bike or your running shoes are worn down or unused. After a few weeks of training you will begin to feel an improvement in your fitness level and technique in the different disciplines. You will be able to follow and test your development with a few mini-triathlons during the semester.
We have perfect facilities and surroundings for triathlon training. We have our own indoor pool for swimming practice, a good number of racing bikes that you can borrow along with a varied and hilly countryside for biking, and track as well as forest trails for running.
Travels with Triathlon
During both the spring and fall semester it is possible to join the school on a trip to Club La Santa on Lanzarote. Lanzarote is known for hosting one of the toughest Ironman races and you can challenge yourself biking up the same volcanoes and running along its windy coasts. Club La Santa offers a wide variety of activities and facilities for everything from tennis to fitness, surfing, mountainbike, football etc. The trip also offers a lot of fun with your friends and lots of folk high school “hygge”.
