At IHAA we focus on the joy of playing tennis.
If you choose Tennis as one of your two sports classes you will have Tennis class two times a week. We’ll plan the classes to fit both experienced and inexperienced players and make sure that everyone gets challenged. We work on your technique, physique and tactics.
We have access to plenty of tennis courts both indoors and outdoors. All of the courts are located right next to the school and this means you have plenty of opportunities to develop your game outside of practice. During classes we always have enough courts at our disposal and no one will have to wait for their turn on the court.
Single, double and matches
Do you love the competitiveness of the single game? Or the teamwork when playing double? You’ll get plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself in both disciplines when you play tennis at IHAA. In the beginning of the semester we will focus on playing double, but you will also get the chance to challenge yourself in some single matches.
We’ll test our development in friendly matches with each other or maybe some players from the local club.
If you want more tennis practice than the two classes a week you’ll get at the school, we will be happy to help you get in touch with one of our local clubs.
trips with tennis
You have the opportunity to play tennis in some lovely weather if you join us on one of the trips to Club La Santa on Lanzarote in the spring or the fall.
In the fall when the weather gets too grey the entire school travels to Lanzarote. We simply move all of our training and classes to Club La Santa. We enjoy the weather and let ourselves get inspired by their talented instructors.
In the spring some sport subjects, including Tennis, have Club La Santa as the destination for their study trip.
