Pulse

Physical training with a focus on technique and variation

In Pulse the focus is on building and maintaining a good physical fitness foundation. There will be organized instruction, but also time for students to set personal training goals and delve deeper into this aspect. As long as the theme of the training revolves around having a high “pulse,” the disciplines can be anything the heart desires. The lessons will always begin with a brief overview, after which we either split up or dive into the day’s joint training session.

Different disciplines

You will have the opportunity to explore various sports disciplines. This includes cycling in different forms—outdoors on road bikes, mountain bikes, and gravel bikes, as well as indoor cycling via Zwift. Running is a central part of the subject, where we alternate between distance and interval training while fine-tuning your running technique. This includes sprinting, interval running, and distance running. Swimming will also be part of the program, focusing on distances, interval training, and technical improvements. Additionally, you can look forward to race walking, rowing, roller skating, and skateboarding.

Reflection and personal development through training

In “Pulse,” it’s not just about physical training; it’s also about understanding the body’s reactions to exercise and recovery. We explore our relationship with our own bodies and how we can best achieve a healthy balance in our training. You will have the opportunity to consider how you respond to different types of exercise and what works best for you. Additionally, you will have the chance to focus on injury management if necessary.
