Danish Team Coach Class

Danish Team Coach Class er en international orienteret coaching-uddannelse som foregår udelukkende på engelsk.

The Danish Team Coach Class is a coach education that teaches our international and our Danish students coaching the Danish way. The curriculum is based on the Danish philosophies of holistic leadership and a more than 100 year old tradition of organizing and educating sports – in particular team sports!

We offer the Danish Team Coach Class both autumn and spring, and are starting the class up every January and August. Our local and national elite network of league-clubs and organizations are ready and willing to invite our international coach-class students to become trainees with them.

At IHÅ we focus on the complete person – this is the prerequisite for becoming the complete player. This includes the physical strength of the player, the mental strength, taking a look at tactics, social skills, techniques, and include the player’s future.

In order to apply for the Danish Team Coach Class you need to have some experience in leadership and team sport coaching, be between 20 and 30 years old, and have the determination to become a top-coach in your future! The language of instruction is English and the course will end with an individual team project and you will receive a diploma.

During the course of the Danish Team Coach Class we will cover the following topics:

THE TEAM – development, building, culture, roles.

THE PLAYER – integrity, personality, career plan, lifestyle.

THE CONCEPT – mentally, technically, tactically, physically.

TOOLS – conflict-lab, game phases, game plan, flow theory.

DATA – analysis, synops, statistics, digital, video

PRACTICE – training, club contacts, observations, trainee.

LEADERSHIP – instructor, coach, mentor, facilitator.

STRATEGIC – planning, progressing, performing, goal setting, learning
