The Danish Team Coach Class

Coaching the Danish Way:
The Sports Academy has through the last 8-10 seasons build up an international reputation with our close contacts by involving our international students/athletes at our football, handball, sailing and dance-academies!

It gave us the idea of building up a coach-education built on the Danish philosophies of Holistic Leadership and a more than a 100 year old tradition of organising and educating inside sports – in particular team-sports!
Our goal is to start up with a new Coach-Class of 12-16 int. students every August and January.

Applicants will themselves have had some experience in leadership and Team-Sport-Coaching, will be aged between 20 – 30 years old and will have the determination to be a top-coach in the future. Educational language is English!

Our local and national, elite network of league-clubs, organisations etc. in Aarhus and DK are all ready to invite our future int. coach-classstudents to be trainees. The Course will end up with an individualTeam-Project incl. your Diploma.

The course is intended to 100 -120 lessons. 

Facilities
The Academies are located to VR-Sportcenter in Risskov and the
harbour of Aarhus - close to the coming sports-rambla in the town.
The Academy has a lot of sports-facilities - 4 halls and a full-size
artificial football-pitch. Furthermore we are close to the forest, the
beach and “ the smallest, big city in the world - Aarhus”. 
 

Duration
18, 21 or 39 weeks Admission January/August.

Fee
1500 d.kr. per week (200 euro) Incl. board, lodging, and teaching.
Individual scholarships, support and club arrangements are possible.
